AMD MI400 LAUNCHES IN H2 2026
AMD is lining up both AI accelerators and enterprise CPUs for 2026, giving data center teams a more complete platform to evaluate.
🔴 The MI400 series is scheduled for the second half of 2026, with 432GB of HBM4 memory. That places AMD’s next AI accelerator generation directly into high-memory data center use cases.
🔴 Venice, the Zen 6 EPYC CPU, is expected in late 2026 with up to 256 cores and 1.6 TB/s memory bandwidth. That is more than double current EPYC capabilities, which matters for dense compute and bandwidth-sensitive workloads.
🔴 Taken together, the two launches suggest AMD is targeting both AI acceleration and general-purpose server compute on the same 2026 timeline. For enterprise IT, that makes platform planning more interesting, and more competitive.
The key question is how these parts perform in real deployments, not just on paper.
