AMAZON PLANS $48 BILLION IN INDIA AI AND CLOUD INVESTMENT BY 2030
Amazon is expanding its India bet at a scale that matters for cloud capacity, AI infrastructure, and enterprise adoption.
🔴 On June 25, 2026, Amazon announced an additional $13 billion investment in India, bringing planned spending to $48 billion between 2026 and 2030.
🔴 More than $21 billion is specifically allocated to AI and cloud infrastructure, including AWS data centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad, custom AI chips, and managed AI services.
🔴 Amazon says its cumulative investment in India from 2010 to 2030 will reach $88 billion, with targets tied to 3.8 million jobs, $80 billion in e-commerce exports, and 15 million small businesses using AI technologies.
